MEET YOUR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Anna Beaudro
Club Chair
committee@hambleaquatics.co.uk [FAO ANNA]
My name is Anna and I am Chair of Hamble Swim Club. I have been in post for 4 years.
I work for Hampshire Constabulary in a civilian role, working shifts.
Swimming is a big part of our family life. My son who swims in Competitive Performance has been swimming since the age of 6 months. My daughter is also a member of the club and is in Youth. As I spent so much time at the pool I thought I would give something back and help the club which is why I joined the committee.
Becky Vanes
Club Secretary
committee@hambleaquatics.co.uk
I’m Becky and I’ve just taken on the role as Club Secretary. Both my girls and husband swim for the club and I although wouldn’t say swimming was in my blood (I’m the runner in the family) I am full of passion to provide our club swimmers with the opportunities to enable them to achieve their best and have fun along the way!
My day job is Deputy Head of a Primary School so I’m well equipped to serve the club and its members.
Glenn Garrett
Club Treasurer
treasurer@hambleaquatics.co.uk
I’m Glenn (my daughter Emily has been a member of the club for 3 years) and I’m in charge of the club’s finances. It’s a bit removed from my day job as a press and pr officer at the Office for National Statistics but I come from a family of accountants so have a bit of support.
Away for the club you might see me pounding the streets preparing to race in various events from 5k to half marathon.
MEET YOUR WELFARE OFFICERS
Benji Vanes
Club Welfare - Male
Hi I’m Benji and I am one of the welfare officers for the club and I also do all things pool bookings. If you’re already part of the club, you may have seen one of the many Facebook posts I put out, I try to make them as interesting as I can obviously!
I have two daughters at the club and you’ll also find me representing team orange as a Masters swimmer and when I swim open water or do crazy long swims!
Always happy to speak to anyone about any welfare issues or anything to do with the club.
