Swimming Development Competition
Saturday 29th June / Sunday 30th June / Saturday 6th July 2019
The Hampshire County ASA Swimming Development Competition will be held on Saturday 29th June; Sunday 30th June; and Saturday 6th July 2019 at Horizon Leisure Centre, Waterlooville, PO7 7UW.
This competition is a Level 3 event and is suitable for swimmers aged between 9 and 14 years as at 6th July 2019.
Swimmers must not enter an individual event:
- if their time is already faster than that stated in the Qualifying Times (2019 qualifying times to be confirmed); or
- if they competed in the same event (stroke and distance) in the 2019 Hampshire County Championships.
The organisers have released the 2019 Programme of Events, which confirms the days that each age group will swim as follows:
Ages 9 and 10 – Saturday 29th June and Saturday 6th July
Ages 11 and 12 – Sunday 30th June and Saturday 6th July
Ages 13 and 14 – Saturday 29th June and Sunday 30th June
Swimmers must submit a time for each entry (i.e. entries with no time “N/T” are not permitted). Submitted times may be short course (25m) and/or long course (50m). Long course times will be converted according to the published Swim England Performance Tables. If both short and long course times are submitted, the faster of the two (after conversion of the L/C time) will be recorded as the entry time.
Details of the meet can be found here or by clicking on the links below (NB. The organisers have advised that the competition will follow the same format as 2018. The 2018 Conditions and Qualifying Times are attached below for information pending receipt of up-to-date information):
Please submit entry forms via email to email@example.com by 2100hrs on Friday 7th June 2019.
